Check gearbox oil level
Check the Gearbox oil level
before each
startup and after every 25 operating hours.
Put the machine on level ground (Fig. V)
and unscrew the screw plug (1) or (A/14).
The oil level must be level with the filling
opening. Top up gearbox oil if necessary.
Screw in and tighten the screw plug.
Allow the gearbox to cool
down before you start mainte-
nance work. The temperature
during maintenance should
not be higher than 51° C.
Changing the gearbox oil
Change the gearbox oil once a year, and wh
en
it is still at operating temperature.
Clean oil filler plug (A/14) and gearbox cover
(A/15) and their environment to prevent dirt
from getting into the gearbox.
To drain the oil, remove gearbox cover (3) or
A/15 from the gearbox housing (unscrew
two hexagon socket screws).
Collect the used oil in a suitable container,
and dispose of it properly.
Check the seal (2), replace it if necessary,
clean the sealing surfaces, and reinstall the
gearbox cover.
Put the machine on level ground and un-
screw the screw plug (1).
Fill in fresh gearbox oil until the oil is level
with the filling hole. (Fig. V).
Oil filing volume and quality see "Technical
data".
Screw in and tighten the screw plug.
