detachable
power
cord,
please
insert into the AC power inlet on the rear panel of your
machine, If you want to use any other type of power cord,
please use one of a similar kind and consult a qualified elec-
trician.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
Blue: Neutral, Brown: Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying
the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
* When wiring a plug, ensure that all terminals are securely
tightened and that no loose strands of wire exist.
VOLTAGE AND CYCLE CONVERSION
Please look at the voltage chart located near the power cord
(or AC Inlet). If it reads 120V, 60 Hz the voltage is fixed. If
it reads 220V/240V, 50 Hz the voltage may be changed with
the voltage selector switch, located on the rear panel. If it
reads 110V/120V/220V/240V 50/60 Hz, there is a universal
voltage selector located on the inside of your machine. Also
your machine will show the voltage at which it was preset in
the factory. If the latter applies to your machine please refer
the following voltage and cycle conversions to a qualified
Service Repair Shop or professional service personnel.
(1) DISCONNECT POWER CORD and remove rear panel.
(2) Remove the Voltage Selector Plug and reinsert to that
proper area voltage shows through the plug cut-out.
(3) Change fuse to. correspond with voltage (Refer to fuse
instructions for proper fuse).
* To maintain optimum performance and prolong the life
of your machine, it is important that the line voltage be
held within 10% of standard area voltage.
CYCLE
* As the unit is equipped with C.P.G. AC Servo Motor,
cycle change for capstan drive motor is not necessary.
Following instruction is just for readjusting reel motors
torques according to cycles.
(1) DISCONNECT POWER CORD.
(2) Remove rear panel.
(3) Cycle Change Switch is located on the System Control
P.C. Board. Set to 50 Hz or 60 Hz position according to
area power source.

VOLTAGE ET CONVERSION DE CYCLE
Regarder le tableau de voltage située au voisinage du cordon
d’alimentation (ou l’entrée du courant alternatif). Si le tableau
indique 120V, 60 Hz, le voltage est fixé. S’il montre 220V/
240V, 50 Hz, le voltage peut étre changé par l’intermédiaire de
Yinterrupteur sélecteur de voltage situé sur le panneau arriére.
S'il indique 110V/120V/220V/240V, 50/60 Hz, il en résulte
qu'il y a un sélécteur universel de voltage situé a l'intérieur de
V’appareil. Egalement, cet appareil mentera le voltage préfixé
4 Pusine. Si ce voltage-ci est appliqué 4 votre appareil, nous
vous prions de vous en référer au Service de Réparation ou 4
un professionnel! qualifié de ce Service du voltage et de la con-
version de cycle suivants.
(1) DETACHER LE FIL D’ALIMENTATION et enlever le
panneau arriére.
(2) Enlever le fiche-sélecteur de voltage et remettre de mani-
ére que le chiffre du voltage voulu se voie par J’entaille
de fiche.
(3) Changer le fusible de fagon qu’il corresponde au voltage.
(Se rapporter a linstruction de fusibles pour chercher le
fusible propre.)
* Pour garder la performance optimum de l’appareil et faire
résister a un long usage, il est important que la ligne de
voltage soit 4 Ja portée excédante de 10% plus que le
voltage étalonné.
CYCLE .
* Ce bloc étant equipé du C.P.G. Servo-Moteur 4 courant
alternatif, le changement de cycle du moteur entrainant le
cabestan n’est pas nécessaire. L’instruction suivante se
prépare justement 2 la rectification de torques des mo-
teurs a dévidoir selon des cycles.
(i) DETACHER LE FIL D*ALIMENTATION.
(2) Enlévement de la panneau arriére.
(3) Le commutateur a changement de cycles se trouve sur le
_ panneau de la commande de systéme.
Mettre le commutateur 4 la position-de 50 Hz ou 60 Hz
selon Ja limite de la source d’alimentation.

Sehen Sie, bitte, die Netzspannungstabelle an, die neben dem

120 V, 60 Hz deutet, ist die Spannung bereits bestimmt. Im
Fall von 220V/240V, 50 Hz kann die Spannung mit dem
SpannungswahkSchalter gewechselt werden, der auf der
Riickseite des Cerats befindlich ist. Fiir den Fall von 110V/
120V/220V/240V 50/60 Hz versieht sich mit einem univer-
salen Spannungswahier, der innerhalb des Gerates vorzufinden
ist. Ihr Gerit kann auch miglicherweise diejenige Spannung
zeigen, die in der Fabrik voraus eingestellt wurde. Bei solchem
Fall empfiehlt es sich, einen qualifizierten Elektriker oder,
eine Service-Reparaturwerkstatt tiber die folgenden Spannungs-
und Zyklusumschaltungen zu befragen.
(1) NETZKABEL AUSKUPPELN und Hinter-Paneel ent-
fernen.
(2) Spannungswahler-Stecker wegnehmen und wieder ein-
stecken, so da® die richtige Gebietesspannung zu sehen
ist.
(3) Schmelzsicherung entsprechend der Spannung wechseln.
(Siehe Anweisung iiber Schmelzsicherung)
* Zum Erhalten der optimalen Auffiihrungen und zum
Verljngern der Dauerhaftigkeit Ihres Gerats ist es uner-
liBtich, daf& die LINE-Spannung innerhalb von 10% der
Standard-Gebietsspannung gehalten wird.
ZYLKUS
Da das Gerat mit C.P.G. AC Servo-Motor ausgeriistet ist, ist
der Zykluswechsel fir den Antriebsmotor nicht nétig. Die
folgende Anleitung gilt nur fiir Wiedereinstellung von Spulen-
motorstorque gemaB des Zyklus.
(1) NETZKABEL AUSKUPPELN.
(2) Hinter-Paneel entfernen.
(3) Der Zykluswechsel-Schalter ist auf dem System-Kontrolle
P.C. Brett befindlich. Auf die Position 50 Hz od. 60 Hz
je nach der Spannungsquelle einstellen.
