INSIDE
• Fit the base frame (1) and (2). See instructions for Akva bases.
• Fit the foam frame (3) by securing the fastening tape on the foam frame to the fastening
tape on the base board. The edge of the foam frame must be aligned to the edge of the
base board. Assemble the corners of the foam frame with fastening tape.
• Fit the bottom of the cover so that the AKVA logo is placed at the foot end (4). Remove
the top, place the fixing paddles in the holes at the bottom of the cover and secure them
by inserting them in the holes in the base board.
• Place the side foam frames in the cover (5), then head and foot end foams (6).
• Place the heating element(s) (7). Feed out the tube under the foam frame, through the
hole in the bottom of the cover and the bottom plate as shown on drawing (8). See the
instructions for Akva Vital Electronic heating elements before assembling them.
• Fit the safety liner (9). The safety liner is supplied in two variants: inliner 9.1 or outliner
9.2.
• If it is a bed with two mattresses, place the foam or water divider supplied in the centre of
the bed after the safety liner is fitted.
• Place the water mattress in the safety liner (11). See instructions for water mattresses.
• After filling with water, remove the air and add Long Life (water disinfectant.) Zip the top
of the cover to the bottom of the cover (12). See also instructions for cover.
