Do not use your radio near water, or spill liquid of any kind into it
. If the transceivers get wet
immediately dry it by a soft and clean cloth.

Switch the radio off before you clean it
. Strictly follow the directions reported in the paragraph
“Care and maintenance”.

Handle the battery properly
. Strictly follow the directions reported in “Care and maintenance”.
• Be certain that your power source matches the rating listed for the supplied battery charger (AC
adaptor). If you are not sure, check with your dealer or with your local power company.
• To avoid damaging the power cable of the battery charger, do not put anything on it or place it where it
will be walked on.
