11. Safety instructions
• Repairs may only be carried out by specialist vendors or authorized service partners.
• Do not open the radio or make any modications to the radio.
• Do not expose the radio to direct sunlight or extreme heat for long periods of time.
• Do not place the transceiver on an unstable surface.
• Keep the transceiver away from dust, moisture and water.
• Do not operate the transceiver or charge the battery in potentially explosive environments.
12. Troubleshooting
The device cannot be switched on or
switches off automatically.
1. Charge the battery or insert a
replacement battery.
2. Is the battery inserted correctly?
3. Clean the contacts before charging.
I cannot communicate with other users. 1. make sure that you are on the same
channel and subchannel (CTCSS/DCS).
2. you are outside the transmission range
of the other radios.
I can hear the other user, but they cannot
hear me.
Check whether you are using the same
channel as the person you are talking to,
and if they are using a CTCSS or DCS
code, you must also use the same code in
order to be heard.
Other participants only hear me
intermittently.
1. The signal is too weak - you are too far
apart.
2. Is the microphone defective? Please
contact your vendor.
I hear radio messages from other groups. Other users are using the same channel as
you. Change the channel.
