2.2.6 IPEI
The IPEI (International Portable Equipment Identity) is a unique identification of portable part (handset)
and DECT Repeater. The IPEI is formatted and displayed in Hexadecimal, Decimal, and Octal formats
2.2.7 Demo mode
The demo mode disables the screen saver, so be aware of that when this mode is enabled battery
consumption will increase and the handset cannot be switched OFF.
2.2.8 Wideband
When Wideband mode is enabled (On) the handset support G722 codec, but to ensure Wideband audio,
remember to enable the wideband codec on system and base station (IPDect) as well. When Wideband is
disabled (Off) Narrowband codec are used, the option Prefer is not supported for the moment.
Caution: Wideband for DECT handset is only supported by some equipment. Refer to system installation
and configuration. Shall be left Off unless requested by Alcatel-Lucent staff.
