3 Handset – Test Menu Management
This section describes how to use the feature “Test Menu” available only to vendors or BPs or
administrators of the handset.
3.1 Test Menu access
This menu is useful for installers or support people to check that the hardware (Keypad, display, etc…)
is working as expected. By means of a special key sequence a test menu can be accessed.
To access the Test menu, do the following step:
STEP 1 : In idle homepage, press key to get menu screen > Type *8378* (mnemonic *test*)
from the keypad to display the test Menu
3.2 Test menu Parameter Definitions
The Service Menu is not for end users, only by installers and suppliers.
3.2.1 Display test
Test if there are any pixel errors in the display. Will automatically switch between the different colours
and await user feedback at the end.
