PERFORMING RETESTS
Additional breath tests are required at random times to ensure
that the driver has not consumed alcohol since the vehicle
engine was started. Refer to your Compliance Guide for more
information.
The Handset beeps and displays Retest. The
indicator light will ash green.
The retest request timer will activate and give
you sufcient time to stop in a safe location.
DO NOT perform a breath test while the
vehicle is in motion.
NOTE: Refer to your Compliance Guide for retest time
limits.
Once a retest is taken, one of the following messages will
appear on the display:
DRIVE SAFELY
You have passed the breath test. You may
continue driving.
PULL OVER, TURN OFF ENGINE
The indicator light ashes red and a tone is
heard. You have failed the breath test. The
alcohol level detected is over the preset limit.
Park in a safe location and turn the vehicle
engine Off.
When the vehicle engine is turned Off,
Retest
Drive Safely
Hold for Warm-Up
Pull Over,
Turn Off Engine
