Rain Sensor
The Heki 4 rooflight is equipped with an
automatic rain sensor which will completely
close the dome should moisture be detected.
Should you wish to keep the dome open
simply press either the opening or closing
button to stop it closing.
! WARNING:
• Do not operate the control when there are
persons near the Heki rooflight.
• Do not stop in the vicinity of the open
dome.
• Do not lean out or climb through the open
dome. The dome may close automatically
if you make contact with the rain sensor
or if moisture, (fog, rain, condensation) is
present
• Before travelling ensure that the dome is
fully closed and the blinds open.
Blinds
A fully adjustable flyscreen and black-out
screen are built into the inner frame. The fly
screen can be drawn independently and the
black-out screen is variable for partial or full
black-out.
! EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
In event of power failure the dome can be
closed manually as follows:
• Switch off the power supply from the
vehicle to the HEKI
• Remove the ventilation grilles and the
covers for the lights.
• Disconnect the 12V plug and power
supply from the vehicle.
• Remove the screws from the inner frame
and pull down the inner frame.
• Remove the emergency crank from its
housing, insert it in the octagonal shaft
(See photo) of the driving mechanism
and turn. Please note - once the acrylic
dome is closed turn the crank a further
2-3 complete turns to lock the dome in
position.
• Check whether the rooflight is completely
closed (push the acrylic dome upwards
with your hand to see if there is any
movement).
