*Dual tariff cabling: In this case, a second 230 V supply must be created to the water heater to bring in the off-peak signal (if
this is tricky, the EDF signal can be replaced by a timer programmed for the pricing structure in force on the site in question).
The dry peak/off-peak contact should be connected to terminals 4 and 5 on the terminal block solely for a dual tariff pricing
structure.
The product will automatically detect the presence of dual tariff (no need to plan for configuration) and will optimise its
operation after a learning period (over 24 hours) of peak/off-peak times.
Note:
- Every time the power is cut off, the product re-learns the structure over the first 24 hours. It operates on a single tariff during
this learning period.
- In the case of an EDF contract with TEMPO (time delay) or EJP (peak load reduction) OPTION: do not make a dual tariff
connection.
