3.4. Aeraulic connection
The performance attained by the water heater is directly linked to the quality of the aeraulic network. It is thus of the utmost
importance to pay careful attention to the whole system.
Exhaust ductwork:
It must ideally be fitted in the heated space (suspended ceiling, insulated attic) in order to limit energy losses. The
thermodynamic water heater performance is linked to the temperature of the incoming air: the COP (Performance coefficient)
is in fact higher the hotter the incoming air.
Where exhaust ductwork cannot be used in the heated space, duct with 50 mm insulation must be used.
To facilitate the connection to the various exhaust grilles, we advise using the connector casing (diagrams 1 and 2): T.Flow
®
Hygro+ only.
The connector casing has:
1 x connection 160 mm to connect the thermodynamic water heater
and depending on the model chosen:
either 6 x connections 125 mm to connect the various exhaust grilles,
or 1 x connection 125 mm to connect to the kitchen grille and 5 x connections 80 mm to connect to the bathrooms.
3 plugs to tag out the unused connections.
