Perfect satellite signal reception can only be guaranteed in
clear weather conditions (clear sky) and suitable reception
area - open area with clear view of the sky.
As satellite signals react very sensitively to outside influences,
poor weather conditions and a distorted reception area (e.g. the
Ski watch is covered by clothing, objects, high buildings,
narrow valleys or gorges), significantly impede the
performance and precision of the Ski watch.
The GPS reception in buildings is severely limited. Near
windows and in rooms with large windows and a clear view of
the sky, depending on the position of the satellites at that
moment, it is sometimes still possible to determine a position.
In internal rooms and cellars, GPS reception is practically
always impossible.
