Adjust the elastic belt so that the sensors fit firmly on the
chest, underneath the chest muscles. Place the chest strap
around the chest in such a way, that it fits below the chest
muscle on men and below the breasts on women.
In order to guarantee good contact with the skin, you must
dampen the contacts of the sensors or use an ECG gel
(available from specialist medical shops). See the picture on
the previous page.
The battery is already inserted in the chest strap, this is ready
for operation.
6 General about GPS reception
In order to be able to use the GPS function of your Ski watch
optimally, the following instructions must be followed. The
Ski watch is a global positioning system (=GPS), which is
primarily used for distance measurement, speed measurement
and height measurement using the US American satellite
network. The United States of America operate this satellite
network and are also responsible for its precision and
maintenance.
