4.2 PARENT UNIT (MONITOR):
POWER button:
Whentheparentunitisswitchedo,brieypressthe
POWER button to switch the parent unit on (attention, only
after several seconds the parent unit will actually switch
on).
When the parent unit is switched on, press and hold the
POWER button for 2 secondstoswitcho.
VOL+ / VOL- buttons:
Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to set the volume of the
parent unit.
While setting the volume, the current volume level is shown
in the display.
When the volume is set to 0 (no sound), the icon ap-
pears in the upper part of the display.
TALK button (talk-back):
Press the TALK button to talk back to your baby. Keep
this button depressed while you’re talking and release the
button to listen.
On the baby unit you may adjust the volume with the
VOLUME+ and VOLUME- buttons.
button (zoom function)
Press the button to enable the zoom function (the
image is zoomed in somewhat). Press the button again
to restore the normal image.
The icon appears in the upper part of the display while
the zoom function is enabled.
While the zoom function is enabled, press and hold the
, , or button to move the image to the left, to the
right, up or down (attention: the camera doesn’t move, the
displayjustshowsadierentpartoftheavailableimage).
