To recharge:
The battery starts charging as soon as you connect the
parent unit to the power adaptor and insert this adaptor into
a 230V wall socket.
• Beforetherstuse,chargethebatteryuseforatleast
15 hours, even when the unit indicates that the battery
is fully charged.
• The charging circuit of the battery is controlled elec-
tronically, there’s no risk of overcharging.
• However, if you don’t use the set for a longer period of
time (>2 months), we recommend you to remove the
adaptor from the wall socket and take out the battery
fromtheparentunit.Whenusingthesetagain,rst
properly charge the battery.
• You may recharge the battery with the parent unit both
switchedonandswitchedo.However,thebattery
rechargesquickerwiththeparentunitswitchedo.
Batteryindicator:(onlywhentheparentunitisswitchedo)
• The upper right part of the display indicates the battery
status (see also the next chapter)
• : this symbol appears large and in the middle of the
display several seconds per minute during the last 5 to
10 minutes before the battery is exhausted while the
unit is also emitting alert tones.

• constant red: battery being charged or kept fully
charged

average connection
weak connection
connection lost
lullabies are being played
indicates that the infra-red night lighting at the camera
is enabled (switches on automatically when it starts to get
dark near the camera)
illuminates when you’re talking to the baby
