Didn't record. Check MIDI connections.
MIDI channels not properly
corresponding with sound
sources.
Check MIDI channel
assignments.
No sound during playback of
recorded parts
Tracks are muted Check track mute selection.
Won't record after touch or
system exclusive data
MIDI filters for after touch and
system exclusive are enabled
In MIDI filters mode, set after
touch and sysex record to on
Bad connections Check wiring
Bad tape Use a certified data tape.
Level of sync tone is too high or
low
Try a higher or lower level to
tape.
Won't save or load to tape
Errors in data Re-save the data.
Bad connections. Check cables.Won't sync to tape.
Level on tape. Set level at or near 0VU.
Turn off noise reduction, if
possible.
