Removing the speakers

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length), whichever applicable.
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in Removing the hard drive.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
2 Note the speaker cable routing and remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on palm-rest assembly.
3 Lift the speakers, along with the cable, o the palm-rest assembly.
