Get Diagnostic Status from Modules by Using
Explicit Messaging
This appendix provides information about how to use CIP Generic Message
instructions (sometimes called Explicit Messaging) to get diagnostic status
information from the modules.
You can implicitly obtain individual point status of the Guard I/O™ module
from the Module Definition dialog box by choosing Pt. Status from the Input
Status pull-down menu.
