EMD Expansion Relay B1/B2
Inputs (Step 7)
Figure 86 shows the waveform from B1 to B2. This waveform is the same as the
single wire safety waveform. The waveform is present only when the output of
the EMD expansion relay is ON. With a digital multimeter, the voltage
measures 8…9V DC.
If the B1 status indicator is on, but no voltage is read, your expansion relay
must be replaced.
