If my AlphaSmart 3000 does not work properly, what should I do?
If your AlphaSmart 3000 is not working properly, please e-mail us, call

If I accidentally erased or cleared my file, can I recover it?
Yes. By following the simple instructions in the Data Recovery Section,
you can either:
• Recover the last 40 characters deleted
• Recover file from the last deletion point
• Recover entire file

Is there a way for me to send text from a computer to the
AlphaSmart 3000?
Yes, this is the function of the AlphaSmart Get Utility software. It is
available for both Macintosh and Windows machines. It is not available
for DOS.

When the AlphaSmart 3000 is connected to the computer, how can
I change files without having to disconnect the cable?
For the Mac, press x-file 1 to go to file 1, x-file 2 to go to file 2, and so
on. For the PC, press just x-F1 to go to file 1, x-F2 to go to file 2, and
so on.
