ing device (bike rack, lug-
gage box etc.) resting on
the luggage compartment
lid is prohibited. To install a carrying
device on your vehicle, contact an
Approved Dealer.
LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT/TRANSPORTING OBJECTS IN THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT
Luggage compartment
To open
Press the 2 button to open the luggage
compartment lid. Raise the luggage
compartment door to its maximum
height to access the luggage compart-
ment.
Note: When the vehicle is locked, press
the 1 or 2 button to unlock and open the
luggage compartment door.
To close
Lower the luggage compartment lid.
Press down on the luggage compart-
ment door to fasten it.

Always position the heavi-
est items directly on the
floor. Use the lashing
points 3 on the boot floor, if
these are fitted to the vehicle.

Permitted load in the luggage com-
partment: 40 kg, distributed evenly.
Because it is near to the
engine compartment, the
temperature on the luggage
compartment may reach
50°C after the engine is switched
off.
– Make sure you do not touch the
hot sections near the engine
compartment. Risk of burns.
– Do not expose aerosols or other
inflammable products that are
sensitive to high temperatures in
the luggage compartment. Risk
of fire or explosion.
– Observe the objects which can
be damaged by high tempera-
tures. Risk of damage.
