Drivers responsibility
when parking or stopping
the vehicle
Never leave an animal,
child or adult who is not self-suffi-
cient alone on your vehicle, even for
a short time.
They may pose a risk to themselves
or to others by starting the engine,
activating equipment such as the
electric windows or locking the
doors.
Also, in hot and/or sunny weather,
please remember that the tempera-
ture inside the passenger compart-
ment increases very quickly.
RISK OF DEATH OR SERIOUS
INJURY.
Lights-on reminder buzzer
If you have switched off the ignition
and left the lights switched on, a re-
minder buzzer will sound when a door
is opened.
Card reminder buzzer
On opening the driver’s door, if the
card is still in the reader, the message
Remove keycard” is displayed on the
instrument panel accompanied by a
warning beep.

Operating faults
In the event of a battery fault:
to open the door: pull the handle 1
then open the door with care to avoid
damaging the seal 4;
to close the door: press the top of
the window (zone 5) while holding
the door using the handle 1 to enable
it to pass under seal 4, then close the
door gently.
In the event of a fault with the
electric windows
The window does not lower when the
door is opened and does not close
when the door is closed. In this case,
pull the electric window button in ques-
tion six times in succession to close
the window completely.
To close the door, proceed as described
in the section entitled “In the event of a
battery fault”.
Do not close the door by holding the window.
Make sure you do not place your fingers too high up in the zone 5.
