Hazard warning lights switching on
Depending on the vehicle, these may
light up in the event of sudden decel-
eration.
Note: in Sport and Track modes, the
hazard warning light is disabled in the
event of a sudden deceleration.
With the gearbox in position D or
M (refer to “Automatic Gearbox” in
Section 2), press and hold the 1 switch
to select Track mode. The instrument
panel display is modified and the mes-
sage “Track” is displayed on the instru-
ment panel.
The message "ESC Track" is displayed
on the instrument panel along with the
warning light to inform you that
all ESC system and traction control
functions have been modified.
The engine, exhaust, pedals and steer-
ing assistance rule adopt the same set-
tings as in Sport mode.
The gearbox switches automatically to
M position.
The ESC system and traction con-
trol offer additional security, it is not
recommended to drive with the func-
tion inhibited.
Track mode
(depending on vehicle)
Track mode:
delays operations on the ESC
system and traction control;
– the gear changing times are re-
duced;
the forced gearshift up is deacti-
vated.
In the event of high loads (“sporty”
driving etc.), the engine may protect
itself by temporarily limiting its per-
formance (speed and torque).
