What causes a Boiler Safety Limit Open (Condition 2) on an Alpine ALP150B Boiler?
    • M
      Matthew RiveraAug 27, 2025
A Boiler Safety Limit Open (Condition 2) indicates that the boiler safety limit wired to terminals J6-1, 2, or 3 is open. Potential causes include loose wiring to the limit device, an auto-reset supply high limit sensor detecting a temperature in excess of 200°F.

Why is the green power light blinking on my Alpine ALP150B Boiler control?
    • M
      mariaharperAug 26, 2025
A blinking green power light on the control indicates a control fault. The internal power supply is repeatedly starting and stopping. Try disconnecting all terminals except 24VAC to power the Control. The green light should be steady. If it is not, then the control is defective. If steady, start plugging in all the connectors while watching the green light. When faulty wiring reconnected, green light will begin to flash.

What to do if my Alpine ALP150B Boiler is not responding to heat call?
    • J
      Joseph MasonAug 23, 2025
If your Alpine Boiler isn't responding to a call for heat and the status and priority show standby, the boiler isn't detecting the call for heat. Check the thermostat or zone wiring for loose connections, miswiring, or a defective thermostat/zone control.
