Cause and Solution
• Protective circuit is activated due to high
temperature.
– The indicator will disappear when the
temperature returns to within operation
range.
• No disc is loaded.
– Select a disc.
• Although a disc is inserted into the unit, “NO
DISC” is displayed and the disc cannot be
played back or ejected.
– Remove the disc using the following
method.
(1) Press the CDh button. The movable
display will open.
(2) Press and hold the CDh button for at
least 2 seconds with the movable
display opened.
• Mechanism error.
1. Press the CDh button and eject the CD.
If not ejecting, consult your Alpine dealer.
2. When the error indication remains after
ejecting, press the CDh button again.
If the error indication still does not turn off
after pressing the CDh button for a few
times, consult your Alpine dealer.
Note: When the "ERROR" is displayed:
In case that the disc cannot be ejected by
pressing the CDh button, press the
Reset button (refer to page 16) and press
the CDh button again.
If not ejecting, consult your Alpine dealer.
