Why does the top light on my Alpine PXE-0850X Recording Equipment flash?

  The top light on the PXE-0850X flashes when the app is connected to the device. Disconnecting the app will cause the lights to return to a steady state.

  If your controller only displays the Alpine logo and doesn’t allow controls, it could be due to several reasons: * The USB cable might not be plugged in correctly. Ensure the side with the connection for the controller is oriented away from the PXE-0850X when plugging it into the PXE-0850X. * A PC cannot be connected to the PXE-0850X simultaneously with the controller. Disconnect the PC. * The phone app cannot be connected via Bluetooth while using the controller. Disconnect the app.

What to do if my Alpine Recording Equipment is not getting full range sound?

  If you're not getting full range sound, it could be due to the OEM head unit having crossed over outputs. The outputs should be tested with an oscilloscope and RTA to see what frequencies they are outputting. If the outputs are crossed over, they will need to be mixed with others to get a full range signal. Test the output of the PXE-0850X to see what channels need to be mixed in more.

Function Description

The PXE-0850X serves as a central hub for audio processing, allowing users to fine-tune various aspects of their car's sound system. It supports multiple input sources, including high-definition Bluetooth, optical fiber, coaxial, and RCA audio inputs, making it compatible with a wide range of on-board CD/DVD players, navigation systems, and external devices.
