Why is my Ambient Weather Station data not reporting to Wunderground.com?

  There might be several reasons: 1. Double-check that your password is correct. It should be the same password you use on Wunderground.com, and it cannot start with a non-alphanumeric character. 2. Ensure your station ID is correct, using all caps and verifying that you haven't mixed up 'O' and '0'. 3. Confirm the date, time and time zone are correctly set on the console. Incorrect settings can cause old data to be reported instead of real-time data. 4. Review your router's firewall settings, as the console sends data via Port 80.

What to do if my Ambient Weather Station outdoor sensor array does not communicate to the display console?

  This can happen if the sensor array initiated improperly, resulting in the console registering the data as invalid. To resolve this: 1. Use an open-ended paperclip to press the reset button (near the LED on the sensor array) for 3 seconds to discharge the voltage. 2. Remove the batteries and wait one minute, covering the solar panel to fully drain any remaining voltage. 3. Reinsert the batteries and resync with the console by powering both the console and sensor array (placed about 10 feet apart) down and then up. Also, if the LED next to the battery compartment isn't flashing every 16 seconds, replace the batteries in the outside sensor array, ensuring correct polarity. If the sensor is flashing every 48 seconds, simply power down and up the console.

  To troubleshoot a missing WiFi connection: 1. Check the display for the WiFi signal strength symbol. If the station is successfully connected and reporting to Wunderground.com, the WiFi icon will appear under the wind chill display on the home page. 2. Verify that your modem's WiFi settings (network name, password, and security settings) are correct.

  If you see dashes on the display console where the remote sensor data should be, try the following: * Move the sensor assembly closer to the display console (the maximum range is about 300 feet line of sight). * Resynchronize the remote sensor(s). * Install a fresh set of batteries in the remote sensor(s). * Ensure the remote sensors aren't transmitting through solid metal or earth barriers. Move the display console away from electrical noise generating devices.
