6.3-12 Insert the basis plate, making sure that the two
small springs do not become displaced from the bush-
ings.
6.3-7 Mount the lung bag and stomach valve onto the
basis plate.
Note: leave 2-3 mm space from the tube to the stom-
ach valve (A).
6.3-9 Ensure that the projection on the basis plate
engages the recess at the rocker spring (A).
6.3-11 Mount the stomach bag on the corrugated tube.
Moisten the connections with alcohol.
6.3-8 Mount the complete basis plate unit, passing the
corrugated tube under the lever bar.
6.3-10 Mount the basis plate, making sure it is correctly
positioned in relation to the levers. Insert and tighten
the two screws. Check that the three levers activate
guides and indicator functions on the instrument.
