CLEANING
ALWAYS lock o power before cleaning, lubricang, maintaining, removal of any guard, and aer shredding
operaon is complete.
Daily Cleaning (Aer each 8 hours of operaon)
 Remove debris and any magnets that have built up on cuers and combers (compressed air (maximum 40 psi
for the AMS-1000HD) or vacuum may be used).
 Visually inspect cuers for damage.
 Remove side guards and visually inspect drive components for leaks or damage.
 Replace all guards.
Weekly cleaning (Aer each 40 hours of operaon)
 Repeat all daily cleaning steps.
 Remove side guards and end guards.
 Remove debris buildup from base.
 Wipe enre machine clean being careful to observe any evidence of oil leaks. Should leakage be observed,
request the aenon of the appropriate maintenance personnel.
 Check for loose hardware on the reducer collars, the crusher paddles, etc.
 Remove all tools, rags, solvents from machine.
 Replace all guards.
