6. Click the “START PLASM” button in order to activate the start of plasma.
The sample introduction system is automatically flushed with argon.
At the end of this process, the plasma is started.
7. Click the “START PUMP” button in order to activate the peristaltic pump.
Depending on the application, distilled water or a zero solution ("blank"),
which is adjusted to the matrix, should be nebulized for approx. 10
minutes in order to heat up and equalize the components.
The instrument is now switched on and the plasma started.
