6. The OPI has a latch (1), which is
released by moving it upwards
(2).
7. Carefully pull the OPI at the
handle (3) to the front (4).
8. Remove the OPI from the torch
housing.
Removal of the OPI is now
complete.

6.8.2 Cleaning the sampler
In order to clean the sampler, proceed as follows:
1. Unscrew the sampler (2) from
the OPI (1), using the OPI tool
(3).
Hold the front side of the
OPI down. This prevents
dirt particles from falling
into the OPI.

2. Clean the sampler under running water using a nailbrush.
When heavy contamination must be removed, a suitable acid may be
used. Then flush the sampler thoroughly with distilled water.
3. Clean the sampler opening, e.g. using a pipe cleaner.
4. Let the sampler dry by the jet of air or argon.
5. Reinstall the sampler (2).
Cleaning of the sampler is now complete.
