6.10 Change the axial (EOP)/radial (SOP) Plasma observation –
Option MultiView
When changing from the axial (EOP) to the radial (SOP) plasma observation,
follow the sequence mentioned below:
Removal of the sample introduction EOP, see page 39.
Removal of the Optical Plasma Interface (OPI), see page 39.
Position change of the MultiView blind plug and air duct, see page 46.
Activation of multi view adjustment, see page 48.
6.10.1 Position change of the MultiView blind plug and air duct
In order to change the position, proceed as follows:

1. Loosen the plug connection of
the blind plug monitoring
instrument (1). In order to
release the plug, rotate the
locking mechanism (2)
counterclockwise until the plug
can be pulled out of the SOP
monitoring socket (3).
2. Release the blind plug (4) from
the locking mechanism (5) of the
SOP plasma torch bracket (6)
and remove it.
