7.2 Adjusting the Access Ramp’s Play
The access ramp can show signs of play when in the vertical
position. This causes the access ramp to rattle when the
vehicle is in motion. Adjusting screws are provided at both
sides of the access ramp for adjusting the play.
Figure 23 shows the adjusting screws with which the access
ramp’s play can be adjusted. Adjuster screws are available
both sides of the access ramp.

The inner screws (on the left in Figure 23) are used to adjust
the play of the ramp that can be folded down inside the ve-
hicle. The inner screws are only available on an EasyFlex
ramp.
If the locking bolt is difficult to close, there is too little play. If
the access ramp is loose when in the vertical position or
rattles when the vehicle is in motion, there is too much play.
To adjust the access ramp’s play:
Remove the black protective caps from the adjuster
screws.
Loosen the locking nuts (see Figure 24, page 44).
