SLEEP/ECO mode
This function can only be enabled from the

enabled the set temperature increases by 1°C or
1°F after 30 minutes. After another 30 minutes
the set temperature increases by another 1°C or
1°F. The new temperature is maintained for 7
hours, after which the original set temperature is
restored. The SLEEP mode then nishes and the
appliance runs with the original settings.
NOTE:
This mode cannot be used in FAN or DRY mode.
AUTOMATIC RESTART
When the power supply is reset after a power
failure the appliance restarts with the previously
set function.
START DELAY 3 MINUTES
When the appliance has been stopped it will
not start for 3 minutes. This is a safety function,
and is completely normal. The appliance starts
automatically after 3 minutes.
SETTING THE AIR DIRECTION
1. The air deector can be set manually.
2. Never overload the air deector and do not
block it with any objects – risk of material
damage.
3. Check that the air deector is completely
open when in heating mode.
4. Check that the air deector is open when in
other mode.
ENERGY SAVING MODE
When the ambient temperature is lower than
the set point temperature for a set time the
appliance automatically switches to energy
saving mode. The compressor and fan motor
stop. When the ambient temperature is higher
than the set point temperature for a set time the
appliance automatically switches from energy
saving mode. The compressor and/or fan motor
start.
CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE
In dehumidication mode remove the drain
plug on the back of the appliance and connect
a drain hose (sold separately). Use a 3/4’’ hose
with a 5/8’’ coupling with external thread. Put
the end of the hose in a suitable drain.
FIG. 21
NOTE:
Check that the hose and coupling are tight.
Make sure the hose is not creased or clenched.
Lead the hose to a suitable drain and make
sure that the end of the hose points down. If
continuous drainage is not being used, check
that the drain plug and knob are properly
inserted to prevent leakage.
