Maintenance Features
Screen Maintenance:
To prevent image retention (burn-in) on the OLED screen, several maintenance practices are recommended:
- Avoid still images: Do not display still images for extended periods (over 4 hours). If necessary, reduce brightness and contrast.
- Full screen mode: Use full screen mode for videos to reduce artifacts from letterboxed or pillar-boxed content.
- No labels/stickers: Do not place labels or stickers directly on the screen.
- Continuous use limitation: Avoid using the display continuously for more than four hours.
- LEA (Logo Extraction Algorithm): Automatically adjusts brightness in specific areas to reduce image retention risk. It is "On" by default and adjustable in the OSD.
- Orbit (Image Shift): Slightly shifts the displayed image at the pixel level once per second to prevent image retention. It is "On (Weak)" by default, with "Strongest" and "Off" options available in the OSD.
- Image residue elimination: This function can be run manually via the OSD, automatically after 4 hours of cumulative operation (with a warning prompt), or when the display enters standby or is turned off after 4 hours. The process involves a 30-second screen compensation correction (white LED flashes) followed by a 10-minute image residue elimination (white LED flashes differently). The power must remain on during this process.
Cleaning:
The cabinet should be cleaned regularly with a water-dampened, soft cloth. For the screen, use a soft cotton or microfiber cloth that is damp and almost dry, ensuring no liquid enters the case. Always disconnect the power cord before cleaning.
Troubleshooting:
The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as:
- No power indicator: Check power connection and computer power.
- Power indicator lit, no image: Check graphics card, signal cable connection, and pins.
- Power indicator flashes orange, no image: Indicates OLED panel malfunction, advises contacting service.
- Failure to realize plug-to-use: Check plug-to-use support and adapter.
- Dim image: Adjust luminance and contrast.
- Bouncing/rippled image: Check for electrical interference.
- "No signal" or "invalid input": Check signal cable connection, pins, and computer display mode.
- Image retention: Use the OFF-RS function in the display menu, which can be run multiple times for desired effect. Refer to the official website for more instructions.
Safety Notes:
Important safety information includes warnings about power sources, grounded plugs, lightning storms, power strip overloading, and proper installation to prevent damage or injury. Adequate ventilation around the monitor is crucial to prevent overheating. Users are warned against tilting the monitor downward by more than -5 degrees to avoid panel damage.
