4.8 Salinity Calibration
The meter has automatic salinity compensation, so salinity calibration is needed when
replacing a new electrode or the electrode has not been used in a long time. In
general, there is no need to do salinity calibration. Salinity has already been calibrated
before leaving factory. For the procedure of salinity calibration, please refer to 4.5.3 in
P2.
4.9 Barometric pressure setting
The meter has the function of manual Barometric pressure compensation. It is
suggested to reset the value according to the standard Barometric pressure table
when there is a big change in Barometric pressure in order to ensure the accuracy of
Barometric pressure compensation (Please see the Chart Ⅲ and Ⅳ. For the
procedure of Barometric pressure calibration, please see 4.5.4.).
