Battery removal (04_06,

•
Make sure that the ignition
switch is set to "OFF".
•
Remove the rider saddle.
•
Unscrew and remove the two
screws (1) using the spanner
supplied in the tool kit.
•
Remove the secondary fuse box
(2).
•
Remove the battery retainer (3).
•
Undo and remove the screw (4)
of the negative terminal (-).
•
Move the negative lead (5)
aside.
•
Move the rubber cap that pro-
tects the positive clamp (+).
•
Undo and remove the screw (6)
of the positive terminal (+).
•
Move the positive lead (7) aside.
PAY MAXIMUM ATTENTION AND
PREVENT ALL CONTACT BETWEEN
THE BATTERY POLES AND ANY MET-
Verwijdering van de accu

•
Controleer of de ontstekings-
schakelaar zich in positie ''OFF''
bevindt.
•
Verwijder het zadel van de be-
stuurder.
•
Draai de twee bouten (1) los met
behulp van de sleutel die zich in
de gereedschapskit bevindt, en
verwijder ze.
•
De doos met secundaire zeke-
ringen (2) uitnemen.
•
De accublokkering (3) verwijde-
ren.
•
Draai de bout (4) los en verwij-
der ze van de negatieve klem
(-).
•
Verplaats de negatieve kabel (5)
zijdelings.
•
Verplaats het rubberen be-
schermingskapje van de positie-
ve klem (+).
•
Draai de bout (6) los en verwij-
der ze van de positieve klem (+).
•
Verplaats de positieve kabel (7)
zijdelings.
