Immobilizer system operation

For enhanced theft protection, the vehi-
cle is equipped with an electronic immo-
bilizer system that is activated automati-
cally when the ignition key is removed.
Keep the second key in a safe place since
it is not possible to make a copy if it gets
lost.
This would imply replacing numerous
parts of the vehicle (besides the locks).
Each key in the grip has an electronic de-
vice - transponder - which modulates the
radio frequency signal emitted by a spe-

Om de bescherming tegen diefstal te ver-
hogen, is het voertuig uitgerust met een
elektronisch blokkeersysteem van de
motor, dat automatisch wordt geacti-
veerd wanneer de ontstekingssleutel
wordt verwijderd.
Bewaar de tweede sleutel op een veilige
plaats, omdat wanneer ook de tweede
sleutel wordt verloren, het niet meer mo-
gelijk is om een kopie te maken.
Dit houdt in dat vele onderdelen van het
voertuig moeten vervangen worden
(naast de sloten).
