the event of any of the three following sit-
uations:

A gear higher than second is se-
lected;
•
Vehicle speed exceeds 160 Km/
h (99.42 mph);
To activate ALC in the level selected pre-
viously from the menu, with the vehicle
stationary, simultaneously press and
hold "+" and "-" for at least 3 seconds,
until the message "LAUNCH" (in ROAD
display mode) or "L" (in RACE display
mode) is shown on the digital display.
When ALC is activated, the ATC and
AWC systems are automatically deacti-
vated and remain so until the ALC func-
tion is exited ALC (message cleared from
digital display). Once the ALC function is
exited, the ATC and AWC systems re-
sume operation with the settings selected
previously.
CAUTION
DURING THE INITIAL STAGE OF ALC
FUNCTION (DURING CLUTCH RE-
LEASE), THE SYSTEM HELPS THE
RIDER KEEP THE FRONT WHEEL AS
CLOSE TO THE GROUND AS POSSI-
BLE.
DURING THE SECOND STAGE OF
ALC FUNCTION (WITH THE CLUTCH
LEVER COMPLETELY RELEASED),
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM IS
TO HELP THE RIDER MAXIMISE VEHI-
CLE ACCELERATION IN RELATION
•
U schakelt een versnelling in die
hoger is dan de tweede versnel-
ling;
•
Een vastgestelde snelheid bo-
ven 160 km/u (99.42 mi/h) wordt
overschreden.
Om het eerder in het menu geselecteer-
de ALC/systeem te activeren dient er ge-
lijktijdig, bij snelheid nul, de knoppen "+"
en "-" langer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt te
worden, totdat op de digitale display he
woord "LAUNCH" (in visualisatiemodus
ROAD) of "L" (in de visualisatiemodus
RACE).
Eenmaal geactiveerd wordt het ALC-,
ATC- en AWC-systeem automatisch ge-
deactiveerd tot het moment dat de ALC-
functie uitgeschakeld wordt (het woord
op de digitale display verdwijnt), op dit
punt gaan de ATC en AWC terug naar de
eerder ingestelde instellingen.

IN DE EERSTE FASE VAN WERKING
AN HET ALC-SYSTEEM (OP HET MO-
MENT DAT DE KOPPELINGSHENDEL
WORDT LOSGELATEN). HET DOEL IS
DE BESTUURDER TE HELPEN HET
VOORWIEL ZO DICHT MOGELIJK BIJ
DE GROND TE HOUDEN.
