2.9) Apply rust inhibitor (665505) to the 3 drilled holes
through the front upper headboard rail and insert 3
rivets into the holes to keep alignment, then rivet
the rail in place using 3 off (6609087) rivets.
2.10) Prepare the pair of front corner brackets
(668PD076R&L) with self-adhesive round clear
bumpons (665076) applied to the tags on each
bracket as shown.
2.11) Clamp the bracket (LH shown) to the side of the
vehicle’s tub lip in the front corner. Ensure the
bracket is pushed down so the bumpons on
the underside of the bracket engage to top of
the side vehicle tub rails and the front end of
the bracket is pushed up the front head board
rail assembly. Repeat on other side of tub for the
opposite bracket.
2.12) Drill 5.2mm holes through the exiting hole in lower
bracket corner on the side tub wall with a
12mm deep drill stop fitted. It is important this
position is done first to level out the bracket
to the front rail. Remove any swarf. Apply rust
inhibitor (665505) to the drilled holes and insert
two rivets (6609087). Repeat on other side of tub
for the opposite bracket
