4.39) Drill 5.2mm holes through the existing holes in
lower part of the rear tub sealing bracket into the
side wall of the tub with a 10mm drill stop
fitted.
4.40) Apply rust inhibitor to the holes and assemble
two rivets (6609087). Do this on both sides of the
vehicle.
4.41) Drill 5.2mm holes through the exiting holes in
lower part of the rear tub sealing bracket from
the inside of the tub through the centre of the 2
holes in the bracket’s leg. Ensure the lowest
hole aligns for suitable screw access
between the striker plate for the tailgate and
screw in the side wall of the tub.
4.42) Secure the lower portion of the rear tub corner
sealing brackets in place with M5x20 button
head screws from the outside (6151650) with M5
flat washers (4584347) and M5 nylock nuts on
the inside of the tub (6151354).
