6.19) When the canopy is fitted, the corners of the
tailgate liner will interfere with the rear corner
canopy rear support brackets and foam sealing
pad if not trimmed. These corners of the tailgate
Sport Guard liner need to be trimmed before
fitment.
6.20) The cut should start at 55mm from the corner
and end at the curved edge of the panel as
shown.
6.21) Using scissors or jig saw, cut both RH and LH
corners away from the tailgate liner and sand
the edges. The tailgate strip also needs to be
trimmed shorter to match the new width of the
tailgate liner. Cut this off and fit the tailgate liner
as per the Sport Guard fitting instructions. Go to
Section 3 and complete steps from here
forwards. Close the tailgate and check
clearance to the foam sealing pad on the
canopy’s rear tub sealing bracket after the
canopy has been fitted.
