5.29) Place into the hole M6 x 20mm screw, with M6 x
25mm flat washer under the head, and on the
inside of the tub’s return flange an M6 Flange nut
and do up to 9Nm.
5.30) Do up the M8 torx screw in the mount rail to
22Nm. Release the G clamp.
5.31) Refit the lock mechanism cover, 2 self-drilling
philips screws and 2 scrivets after re-coiling the
loom inside the bracket on the window frame
underneath the cover. Ensure the wiring is
positioned where it cannot interfere with the
operation of the locking mechanism.
Repeat on the opposite side if a double lift
window canopy is optioned.
5.32) If a Pop out window is optioned on the canopy,
locate the slots in the mid pint of the centre mount
rail and repeat steps 5.25 to 5.30.
5.33) View the lower rear door sash and apply masking
tape to the vehicle’s tailgate level with the door
sash.
5.34) Open the canopy’s door. Starting overlapped about
10mm with one end of the tailgate, in the location
as shown, and above the line of the masking tape
to be used as a guide for location, roll out the clear
protection tape (665037) and start partially by
removing the tape backing liner. Leave the
overhang on the opposite side.
