2.6) Repeat all tub sealing steps on the opposite side of the vehicle
SECTION 3: FITTING THE CANOPY TUB MOUNTING SYSTEM
If OEM Ford bed liner is to be fitted, fit it back into the vehicle’s tub. DO NOT ASSEMBLE HARDWARE YET FOR
THE BED LINER.
If the vehicle is not fitted with a bed liner, remove the lower most tie down hooks in the front and rear tub corners.
(In 4 places).
If the vehicle is to be fitted with a Sports Guard kit- follow instructions 3.0) and 3.1) then go to instruction 3.16)
3.0) Clean the front tub rail at the back of the vehicle’s
cabin with Isopropyl Alcohol and a lint free rag.
Starting from the inside edge of the side tub rails,
apply soft foam tape (665074) seal along the top
face of the front of the vehicle’s tub, so that it covers
the screw holes. Trim tape level to butt up to the
inside of the side tub rail on the opposite side.
2.5) (Tub shown removed form vehicle

Between the cabin and the tub at the
front corner apply neutral cure silicon to
the gaps in the sheet metal panels as
shown using silicon on a spatula or putty
knife, to gain access.
Cover these holes and
trim tape here at join
between front rail and side
rail of vehicle’s tub. Tightly
butt the tape to this join.
