XLR balanced line outputs –
AV888 only
e AV888 processor provides XLR connectors for each
of seven channels, to an XLR-equipped amplier (e.g.
the Arcam P777). ree XLR subwoofer outputs are
provided in addition.
RIGHT, LEFT, CENTRE
Connect these to the equivalent (Right, Le and Centre)
front channels of your power amplier.
SW1
Main subwoofer output. Connect this to the input of
your active subwoofer, if present.
SW2, SW3
Subwoofer 2 and Subwoofer 3 auxiliary outputs. ese
are equivalent to SW1 but they allow the use of multiple
subwoofers.
SR, SL
Surround Right and Surround Le outputs. Connect
these to the Surround Right and Le power amplier
inputs.
SBR, SBL
Surround Back Right and Surround Back Le outputs
(only used in 6.1 and 7.1 channel systems). Connect
these to the Surround Back Right and Surround Back
Le power amplier inputs.
For 6.1 channel speaker congurations, connect the
single Surround Back power amplier to the SBL output.

Analogue pre-amplifier outputs
(AVR600/AV888 only)
All pre-amplier analogue outputs are buered, have
a low output impedance and are at line level. ey are
able to drive long cables or several inputs in parallel if
required.
R, L, C
Connect these to the equivalent
(Right, Le and Centre) front
channels of your power amplier.
SW1
Main subwoofer output. Connect
this to the input of your active
