NOTE: There should be an aver-
age operating load on the ATV when
adjusting the headlight aim.
2. Measure the distance from the floor
to the mid-point of each headlight.
3. Using the measurements obtained in
step 2, make horizontal marks on the
aiming surface.
4. Make vertical marks which intersect
the horizontal marks on the aiming
surface directly in front of the head-
lights.
5. Switch on the lights. Make sure the
HIGH beam is on. DO NOT USE
LOW BEAM.
6. Observe each headlight beam aim.
Proper aim is when the most intense
beam is centered on the vertical mark
5 cm (2 in.) below the horizontal
mark on the aiming surface.
7. Adjust each headlight until correct
aim is obtained by turning the knob
clockwise to raise or counterclock-
wise to lower the beam.

Fuses
The fuses are located in a power distribu-
tion module under the seat. If there is any
type of electrical system failure, always
check the fuses first.
NOTE: To remove the fuse, com-
press the locking tabs on either
side of the fuse cover and lift out.

Electrical Output
Terminals
Two output terminals for electrical acces-
sories are located on the front and rear
wiring harnesses. The accessory plug is
located on the instrument pod.
Storage Compartment/
Tools
A basic tool kit is provided with the ATV.
Maintain the tool kit with the ATV at all
times.
ATV-1097
The storage compartment is above the
engine in front of the seat.
CAUTION
Always replace a blown fuse with a
fuse of the same type and rating. If
the new fuse blows after a short
period of use, consult an authorized
Arctic Cat ATV dealer immediately.
CAUTION
Always use electrical accessories
less than 180W.
