Cleaning the steam/hot water wand
Warning!
The procedure shall be carried out when the steam/hot water wand has cooled down in order to avoid
burns.
1 Unscrew to the left the steam/hot water wand joint (N). Pull down the steam/hot water wand (M) to remove
it from its seat (Fig. 33).
2 Separate the steel tube (L) from the steam/hot water wand.
3 Wash the steam/hot water wand spout in warm water. Use the provided cleaning needle (G) or brush (F)
to clean the hole (Fig. 34).
4 Wash the steel tube in warm water. Use the provided cleaning needle (G) or brush (F) to clean the hole (Fig.
35).
5 Install the steel tube (L) on the steam/hot water wand.
6 Push the steam/hot water wand (M) upwards to insert it into its seat. Screw to the right the steam/hot water
wand joint (N) to lock the steam/hot water wand (Fig. 36).
After each use, deliver steam for a few seconds so as to free the spout from any residues.
Cleaning the tank
Regularly clean the inside of the water tank using a sponge or a damp cloth.
Cleaning the appliance body
Warning!
Do not use abrasive detergents.
Clean the fixed parts of the appliance using a non-abrasive damp cloth to prevent damaging the body.
Manual cleaning cycle of the coffee circuit
Warning!
Danger of burns due to splashes of hot water and steam that may escape from the adjustable dispens-
ing spout.
It is possible to carry out a manual cleaning cycle of the coffee circuit after each use or after a period of non-
use.
- Press and hold the power button (S) and the hot water button ( ). The indicator lights of the hot water
(
), strong coffee ( ) and mild coffee ( ) buttons will automatically turn off.
The appliance will automatically start a cleaning cycle of the coffee circuit.
The appliance will start dispensing water from the adjustable dispensing spout (P).
Once the cleaning cycle of the coffee circuit is complete, the appliance will enter the stand-by mode.
Manual cleaning cycle of the hot water circuit
Warning!
Danger of burns due to splashes of hot water and steam that may escape from the steam/hot water
wand.
It is possible to carry out a manual cleaning cycle of the hot water circuit after each use or after a period of
non-use.
- Press the hot water button (
).
- The appliance will automatically start a cleaning cycle of the hot water circuit. Wait until water is dispensed
from the steam/hot water wand (M).
- Repeat the procedure until consuming all the water into the water tank.
