tes, or the bread may not rise correctly. Be careful with fresh fruit and nuts as
they contain liquid (juice and oil), so adjust the main liquid ingredient.
It is preferable to mix in the additional ingredients during stage 33, when the
appliance emits a beep during the second kneading.
STORING BREAD
Shop-bought bread contains all kinds of additives (chlorine, chalk, coal-tar dye,
sorbitol, soya, etc.). Your bread contains none of these, so it does not keep as
well as bread bought from the shop and has a different appearance. Also, it does
not have the same flavour as shop-bought bread, it has the taste that bread
should always have.
It is best to eat it fresh, but it can be kept for two days at room temperature, in a
polythene bag from which all the air has been removed.
To freeze home-made bread, allow it to cool, put it in a polythene bag and remo-
ve all the air, then seal it and freeze.
POWER CUTS
If the power cut lasts less than 6 minutes, the program will continue when the
power is restored. The program time will be extended to compensate for the
power cut. If the power cut is longer than 6 minutes, the program will stop. In
this case, disconnect the appliance, allow it to cool down, remove the bread-
pan, remove the ingredients, clean and start again.
Be careful not to scratch the non-stick surfaces of the breadpan and kneading
arm.
ERROR CODES
If the appliance becomes too hot, code E01 will appear on the display. If this
happens, press the START/STOP button ( ) until it emits a beep, remove the
breadpan and allow the bread-making machine to return to room temperature
before trying again.
All the other codes (for example EEE or HHH) probably mean that the applian-
ce has a defect.
CLEANING
Disconnect the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before procee-
ding with cleaning.
When cleaning, the most important rule is to keep the non-stick coating of the
