Design and function
The UNO design with vertical flue gas tubes is simple and efficient. In spite of the
small dimensions the boiler can produce up to 20 kW heating effect with an
efficiency of approx. 90%.
The integrated battery of copper gives a large quantity of hot water without risk of
legionella bacteria.
The boiler is equipped with a silent compressor that stores pressure air in a tank
under the upper panel. The pressure air is released through a nozzle, which cleans
the burner pipe.
The tubes are automatically cleaned by a pneumatic cylinder, which lifts and drops
the turbulators each time the burner stops, or at least each 3rd hour. An ash box of
stainless steel is placed in the ash space under the combustion chamber.
The control panel is equipped with a thermometer
for the boiler temperature, a hydrometer for the water pressure and a thermostat
knob to set the boiler water temperature during electrial operation.
The heating cartridge can also be disconnected by the switch on the panel.
Important
• Check that the boiler and the heating system are filled with water and ventilated
before initiating combustion.
• Installation is to be carried out by authorizied heating and electrial technicians only.
• Burner operation: Set the thermostat to switch on the heating cartridge in case
of unexpected burner break-down.
• The threaded pipe, included in the delivery, shall be mounted on the return side
of the shunt valve.
• The boiler shall be electrically connected by an all-pole switch with min. 3 mm
breaker gap.
