Fix the battery charger to a suitable wall
and connect it to an earthed wall socket.
Type no:
NDA1100-EU, NDA2100-GB,
NDA3100-CH, NDA4100-US,
NDA6100-AU.
Mounting of the battery
The battery is delivered separately.
Unpack and install as follows:
1 Grip the top of the battery with one
hand and put it in place with the
other.
2 Plug the battery contact.
3 The low level indicator light
(yellow) twinkles once to indicate
when the battery is in place.
First when you hear a click you can
be sure that the battery is locked in
place.
Recharging intervals
To prolong life, recharge the battery at
regular intervals, e.g. every night. If the
lift function is used frequently, we
recommend you to use the two batteries:
one in the lift hygiene chair and the
other on standby in the battery charger.
Low charge warning
The yellow warning light on the lift pil-
lar will start to flash when the battery
charge is running low. The battery
should then be recharged as soon as
possible.
Storage of batteries
The batteries are fully charged on
delivery.
During storage, batteries gradually lose
their charge. Keep batteries in cool con-
ditions (but never below 0
°
C (32 °F))
and recharge stored batteries every six
months.
Always place the battery as shown in
the figure when not in use.
Changing a battery
1 Grip the top of the battery with one
hand and press the button with the
other, unplug the battery/battery
contact.
2 Plug the battery charger into an eart-
hed wall socket. Put the battery in
the charger.
3 Plug the battery contact into the
charger's socket. When the yellow
indicator light switches off, the bat-
tery is fully charged.
Changing a fuse
1 Dismount the battery.
2 Loosen the two screws, which
attaches the cover over the Printed
Circuit Board (placed above the bat-
tery contact).
3 The fuse F1 F10AL 250 V is placed
in the lower part of the Printed
Circuit Board.
4 Replace the broken fuse.
5 Mount in reverse order.

The battery charger is
designed for use in a dry
location and should not
be installed in bath-
rooms, etc.
Mounting and recharging of the battery
In order to use the lift hygiene chair
without interruption, charge the bat-
tery when the warning light flashes.
Do not wait until the low battery
charge warning light comes on.
CAUTION
The battery can be left in the charger
when fully charged without risk of
damage.
CAUTION
The battery is heavy. Be careful not
to drop it!
